Take Action!
Our working conditions change when we take collective action. It’s because of hundreds of grads and postdocs who have spoken to their labmates and friends that we all benefit from the protections of an industry-leading first contract. However, our work doesn’t end at a strong contract, the only way we can enforce our contract is by coming together as union members with the willingness to stand up and keep each other safe.
Taking action looks like:
- Talking to your labmates and friends about the rights you’re entitled to
- Joining a committee
- Becoming a steward
- Helping plan actions around a political campaign
