Visa Reimbursements
Under Article XX, Section 11 of our current contract, International Unit Members are eligible for reimbursement of fees and related reasonable renewal expenses incurred since January 1, 2024, for their SEVIS, and U.S. visa (including reciprocity), CBP, and USCIS applications they pay for personally related to their Caltech appointment, for up to $500. To receive this, you can follow the instructions below.
1. Fill out the Visa Fee Reimbursement Form.
2. Send your filled out form to your appropriate admin/staff member, which will depend on your department, and whether you are a graduate student worker or a postdoc. The list for who to send your form to can be found below. If you have any questions or confusion about visa reimbursement, you can submit questions in our survey
