TL;DR: if you were on a cancelled NIH grant, please submit your info by tomorrow so the courts are aware of your grant!

Our union, UAW, is one of the plaintiffs in a case filed in federal court that is challenging NIH grant cancellations. Earlier this week, a judge issued an initial ruling that these cancellations were illegal. To ensure you are covered by this ruling, it’s critical that you fill out this form by Friday, June 20.

The case is seeking to reverse the termination of NIH grants (both termination of individual grants/fellowships (including R01, K99/R00, F31, F32 and T32) and termination of grant programs, such as IRACDA or PREP) or grant applications that were delayed without answer or administratively withdrawn by NIH. It is possible that the judge may only act on grants/applications that are reported by the plaintiffs, so if you have been impacted, it’s critical that you fill out this form.
