Come have some pizza and hear the latest updates at our union’s July membership meeting today at 5:30 pm in Chen 130! Graduate student workers and postdocs will share updates about how our successful town hall with Reps. Judy Chu and George Whitesides has already begun moving the needle on science funding. Then they’ll cover how we can use the momentum of this town hall to build even more power for continuing political action on the national level and contract enforcement on the local level. Finally, our financial secretary, Kyle Nelli, will go over the budget and explain all of the ways our dues allow us to get the most out of our contract.
